My son has been a Tiger Cub for the past year, and last week he “crossed the bridge” to become a Wolf Cub. There were a whole bunch of boys in Pack 617 that moved up to the next level, and I wanted to help them celebrate with a special cake.
I actually ended up with two cakes: one for the Cub Scouts and one for the Boy Scouts. I made a little bridge out of modeling chocolate to put between them It worked out really great, even though I was rushed for time at the end. They are covered in fondant with Buttercream piping around the edges and on the Cub Scout detailing.
This is a horrible picture, but right now it’s the only one I have. I forgot my own camera, took this one with my cell phone, and am waiting for the other moms who took pictures to send me copies. But no matter what, the boys enjoyed the cake and punch and are proudly marching on the next level of Scouting.
